Australia

A number of eAccessibility measures in Australia are underpinned by the Disability Discrimination Act which prohibits discrimination in relation to employment, education and provision of both public and private services. This has led to measures to improve website, telecommunications, broadcasting and financial services accessibility. In terms of actual levels of accessibility achieved, Australia is well above the European average.
