Belgium
In Belgium, activities on eAccessibility comprise a mix of national and regional level measures, with some variability across the regions as a result. National anti-discrimination legislation provides an indirect basis for eAccessibility efforts across the country. At the regional level, significant efforts on website accessibility have been undertaken through regional government projects and on broadcasting through inclusion of some accessibility requirements in TV broadcast licences. In terms of actual levels of accessibility achieved to date, Belgium is slightly above the European average.
