Analogue TV
There is no legislative or regulatory measure in relation to accessibility of analogue broadcasting in Cyprus.
Digital TV
While at the moment there is no digital TV in Cyprus, the Cyprian Confederation of Disabled People and the Pancyprian Organization of the Blind are actively involved in the development of the technical specifications for digital TV and for visual and audio description services which can be established by the state agents.
Other initiatives
The Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation broadcasts one news programme daily in sign language.
