Horizontal or co-ordinated eAccessibility measures
Here the focus is on whether, in addition to the various sectoral themes discussed above, there are also horizontal or co-ordinated eAccessibility measures that cover a range of sectoral themes or dimensions of eAccessibility.
The Government committee for physically disabled people is the main body in the Czech Republic that deals with the issue of disability. The most recent national plan of support and integration of people with disabilities 2006-2009 contains a series of actions to be adopted by various public administration agencies aiming to assist people with disabilities. Section 6 deals with access to information and cultural heritage, Section 7 deals with prevention of discrimination of people with disabilities, and section 8 deals with participation by people with disabilities and their organizations in the administration of public affairs. The plan includes some measures to promote eAccessibility within a broader agenda of integrating people with disabilities, for example taking advantage of digital TV and promoting greater accessibility of public websites.
