Portugal: Horizontal or co-ordinated eAccessibility measures
In Portugal, while there appears to be no horizontal legislative measure on eAccessibility, as such, the National Programme for the Inclusion of Disabled People in the Information Society (NPIDPIA) (2003) and the National Plan for the Promotion of Accessibility (PNPA) 2007-2015 are both horizontal policy measures that address eAccessibility across several dimensions. The 2003 Programme included measures on access to broadcasting, public websites and the internet generally, public procurement of ICT, and actions in relation to employment. The PNPA 2007-2015 includes actions addressing access to public pay telephones, electronic access to public services and accessible self-service terminals.
