The 2003 Code on Electronic Communications (No. 610/2003) implements the EU Directives. Relevant obligations imposed include:
§ 3 The provider will secure barrier-free access to at least 25% of operated telephone stations at public places continuously accessible to the public and will provide for their labelling.
§ 4 The provider will provide users with hearing impairment and users with speech impairment with end-user equipment, which will enable them to access public telephone services including emergency calls.
§ 5 The provider will provide users with sight impairment free access to information services on telephone numbers.
