Spain
Spain has an extensive and growing range of eAccessibility-related legislation and regulations. Notable is the Law on Equal Opportunities, Non-Discrimination and Universal Accessibility of People with Disabilities which covers a range of technologies, products and services related to the information society and social communications media. In relation to actual levels of eAccessibility achieved to date, from a comparative perspective the situation in Spain is assessed as being somewhat above the European average though not as well developed as the forerunner countries.
