Horizontal or co-ordinated eAccessibility measures

In the UK, it seems that there is no overarching measure to guide or address eAccessibility policy and activity in a co-ordinated manner. However, there are examples of inter-linkage of legislation and policy. These include the coverage of the communications sector in the equality legislation (DDA) and in the sectoral legislation (Communications Act and the associated regulations), and the linking of the public procurement provisions in the DDA with the regulations implementing the accessibility provisions in the EU public procurement directives.
